Director of Client Relations
With over twenty-five years of experience working in the courts and directly for criminal court judges, Kelly’s personal and professional experience is an asset to our Firm, but most importantly to our clients. Her depth of knowledge of the criminal justice system and her unique perspective are invaluable. Kelly thrives in our Firm’s fast-paced environment and embodies the Firm’s mission of helping good people regain control of their future when charged with a crime.
Having retired from San Diego Superior Court in 2017, Kelly had several employment opportunities, both inside and outside of criminal law. Ultimately, she chose to work for our Firm due in part to her familiarity with attorneys David P. Shapiro and Stefano L. Molea, having observed them both in courtrooms she had worked in for the better part of the last decade. Kelly understands first-hand how an attorney’s reputation reflects upon the client they represent, particularly in criminal cases where an attorney’s credibility with judges, prosecutors, and court staff often makes all the difference in how favorably a case can be resolved.
When not playing an integral role at the Firm as a Legal Assistant and Director of Client Relations, Kelly enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and volunteering at Mercy Hospital.
